The Presidency of the Republic has announced today the list of 29 nominated “Ensigns of the Italian Republic”, girls and boys distinguished for environmental protection activities.
The award will be presented next March 12 2018 in Rome.
Among the award winner, Simone Borsetti from Ferrara, for having “given a fundamental contribution to a project of active citizenship, aimed at improving the environment and health in his own territory. Based on a monitoring of environmental indicators and a survey on the perception of citizens, concrete proposals were formulated, which were then accepted in the Urban Plan for Sustainable Mobility in the Ferrara Municipality“.

Simone, who attends ITIS Copernico Carpeggiani, has carried out his activity within the LIFE GIOCONDA project, with the support of prof. Marinella Riemma and the local coordinator of the project, Federica Manzoli.
