In October, the first meetings with GIOCONDA teachers were held, key players to effectively carry out the project activities and build a well-functioning bridge between young citizens and local administrators. Educators and environmental technicians have explained the process and offered their skills to integrate content both in science and the humanities.
In addition to the activities envisaged by the project, indeed classes will be offered laboratories to know the instruments for measuring air quality and noise and some of the basics of social research such as building a questionnaire. Thanks to the collaboration and organizational effort that the teachers from eight schools are doing to combine school planning and GIOCONDA project, fieldwork has begun.
